Graham: Israeli attacks on Iran should not threaten people’s lives and the chance for a new beginning
Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator from the United States, emphasized the need for caution in selecting targets and urged Israel to ensure that its attacks on Iran do not weaken the chances of Iranians for starting a new life after the regime’s collapse.
Following recent Israeli attacks on fuel depots in Iran, U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham called on Tel Aviv to exercise precision in choosing its targets.
Graham wrote on the X network, ‘Please act with caution in selecting targets. Our goal is to liberate the Iranian people in a way that does not weaken their chances for starting a new and better life after the collapse of this regime. Iran’s oil economy will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.’
He added, ‘Soon a day will come when the people of Iran will take their destiny into their own hands, not the bloodthirsty regime of the Ayatollahs.’
The Israeli attack two nights ago on several fuel depots in Rey, Shahran, and Aghdasiyeh in Tehran, as well as in Fardis, Karaj, caused widespread fires and severe air pollution.
