Grain Export from Ukraine Returns to Normal

Grain exports from Ukraine have returned to normal.

While after Russia’s official announcement of halting the execution of the grain export agreement from Ukraine, serious concerns about the near future of food security in less developed countries caused various countries to increase pressure for the agreement to be implemented again, Russia announced today that it will continue with the agreement that the United Nations had mediated.

This comes as Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, through several phone calls and the fact that his country hosted the talks for signing the agreement in the past, is trying to present this development as his own achievement in recent hours.

Russia has agreed to this while a serious battle in Kherson awaits both the Russians and Ukrainians. Russia is rapidly evacuating various areas of Kherson, and Western military organizations’ assessments indicate that the Russian army is preparing for a heavy battle with Ukraine in this region.
