Grossi praised Saudi Arabia’s approach towards Iran during a meeting with Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, on Wednesday, July 15, in Riyadh.

Grossi announced this meeting in a post on X, stating that he had a useful and important discussion today in Riyadh with Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, regarding global challenges of nuclear non-proliferation. We are grateful for Saudi Arabia’s support of the International Atomic Energy Agency, especially our work in Iran.

Saudi Arabia is preparing, in cooperation with the United States, to develop its nuclear power industry.
