Hadi Kasayizadeh, journalist, was arrested

Hadi Kasaizadeh, a journalist, has been arrested.

According to reports, Hadi Kasaizadeh, a journalist and editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Maidan Azadi, has been detained in Iran.

According to a post on his social media page, Twitter, he was arrested on Tuesday, 28th of Azar, after visiting a judicial complex in Tehran.

Mr. Kasaizadeh had previously announced his complaint against the Tehran prosecutor and municipality earlier this month.

He had also recently posted about the salaries of eulogists, which has now been deleted from his page.

He had written, along with a picture of an official letter, that the eulogy fees for martyrs start from 60 million in the provinces.

Despite this, no official sources, lawyers, or family members have released any information regarding the charges or reasons for his arrest so far.
