Haghighatpour: We will likely witness the revival of the JCPOA in the coming days.

Mansour Haghighatpour, regarding the latest news on the JCPOA revival negotiations, said, ‘I do not know if within the framework of the existing agreements, the necessity of preventing the U.S. from withdrawing again has been addressed or not, but a solution should have been devised, and perhaps the Europeans have provided necessary guarantees and given assurances. We do not have the necessary details. It is generally true that the nature of American officials is not inherently good, and we hope the Americans have learned their lesson. The more they pressure us, the more resilient our nation becomes. Now, the breakout point has reached a week, and we have reached this capacity. The conditions have drastically changed for the U.S. compared to 2016.’

He added, ‘It seems that the fundamental issues have been resolved and an agreement has been reached. Many of these matters will certainly be documented and considered as a record. My outlook is positive, and we will likely witness the final signing of the agreement in the coming days.’
