Abdolnasser Hamati, the former head of the Central Bank, wrote in his report that the annual inflation has been hovering around 45% for several months, and the month-to-month inflation has been growing at a rate of 39% for the past 5 months, as confirmed by the Central Statistics Office.
In fact, the price trends in the market and the policy of price setting for goods and currency each follow their own path. The monetary base growth is still not inflationary.
