Hamid Farrokhnezhad criticizes the division among opponents of the Iranian government: ‘Stop selfishness, jockeying for position, and flag-waving.’
Hamid Farrokhnezhad, an Iranian actor who recently left Iran, in his new Instagram post criticized the division and disagreement among opposition forces abroad. He wrote, ‘It’s been about ten days since I left Iran, and I’ve met a group who call themselves the opposition and have considered enmity towards the oppressive and tyrannical Islamic Republic as their job for years. I quickly realized how fortunate the Islamic Republic is to have such opponents against it.’
Mr. Farrokhnezhad, meanwhile, referring to those who asked him why he came late and why he remained silent until now, wrote, ‘I bow to all those who, with faith in the overthrow of the regime of oppression, sacrificed their most precious possessions and wisely set aside everything that contradicts their unity and solidarity for their great cause. Those who do not set conditions for joining the repentant and do not consider themselves the owners of the uprising.’
