Hamshahri Newspaper: IRIB’s series lack quality
Hamshahri Newspaper wrote that some Iranian home entertainment series are being broadcast on television networks and platforms in 15 countries worldwide, with a significant portion of them airing in countries like Turkey, South Korea, and some Latin American countries.
Many experts say that some series from this network have the potential to be shown in other countries, and this can contribute to the economic cycle of producing home entertainment series.
These days, home entertainment series are leading in the production of products, films, and series, due to the low quality of IRIB productions, home entertainment series have managed to attract more viewers than ever.
Among these series, some have managed to be the most popular during their airing seasons.
It has been stated that series like ‘Jeyran’ by Hassan Fathi are being broadcast in neighboring countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan, and are set to begin airing in Russia, Japan, North Africa, and some Arab countries. Additionally, ‘Zakhm Kari’ by Mahdavian will soon be broadcast in Malaysia and Russia.
Negotiations have also been made for the broadcast of ‘Poost-e Shir’. Furthermore, ‘Yaghi’, ‘Malake Gedaian’, ‘Jazireh’, ‘Nahang Abi’, and ‘Mikham Zende Bemanam’ are other series, some of which have started airing in other countries.
