Hamshahri Online: A doctor was killed while practicing medicine in Mahshahr

According to media reports in Iran, on the evening of Monday, February 26, a doctor was shot and killed by unknown assailants while practicing in a clinic in Bandar Mahshahr.

Hamshahri Online reports that Fereydoun Bandari, the governor of Bandar Mahshahr, stated that a general practitioner was shot by unknown individuals while practicing. Necessary orders have been issued for the identification, arrest, and determination of the motive of those responsible for this crime as quickly as possible, and investigations have begun.

According to reports, on Monday evening, two individuals entered the Shafa Clinic in Bandar Mahshahr and shot the clinic doctor, killing him. The armed assailants fled after firing several shots at the doctor.

Colonel Manouchehr Javanmard, the police commander of Mahshahr, also commented on the incident, saying that following the murder of a doctor, a special order was issued for the arrest of the perpetrators. Immediately after the incident, police detectives arrived at the murder scene and began their investigation to identify and apprehend the fugitives.

So far, no information has been released regarding the motive and possible reason for this murder.
