Hassan Rouhani, the former president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said regarding the acceptance of Iran’s nuclear file that in 2003, the agency conducted an inspection of the places where we were conducting nuclear activities, according to the safeguards and regulations in place.

They took samples that showed we had 80% enrichment, and when this report was presented to the agency, it caused an uproar.

Rouhani added that at that time, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran considered this percentage a conspiracy by the United States and said that the cloth they used here and took away was clean.

Another cloth that was contaminated was given to them by the United States and taken to the laboratory.

According to Rouhani, the leader of the Islamic Republic asked him to take charge of the case and resolve it.
