The head of the Iranian Meteorological Research Institute says ultraviolet radiation has increased in many parts of the country.
Mehdi Rahnama, the head of the Iranian Meteorological Research Institute, said about the increase in ultraviolet radiation in recent days that ultraviolet radiation typically increases in many parts of the country in mid-summer each year.
He warned about this increase in radiation during the hot hours of the day and said this level reaches its peak between 12 and 2 PM.
Experts warn that exposure to this radiation, especially during the middle hours of the day, can cause skin and eye damage and even increase the risk of certain diseases.
Accordingly, the Meteorological Organization and the Ministry of Health have recommended that citizens avoid being outdoors as much as possible, especially between 10 AM and 4 PM.
