The head of the Mashhad Hoteliers Association stated that not a single gram of the discovered donkey meat was used in the hotel near the shrine.

The head of the Khorasan Razavi Hoteliers’ Professional Association mentioned that in the incident of the discovery of donkey meat that was reported in recent days, the information was conveyed incompletely.

Some meat was delivered by a butcher to one of the hotels near the shrine, but the veterinary inspector and the hotel manager realized before its use that the meat was from a donkey. They immediately reported the issue, and not even a gram of this meat was used.
