Gholamreza Jalali, the head of the Passive Defense Organization of the Islamic Republic, claimed that for a year there had been a possibility of an attack on nuclear infrastructures in Iran, and therefore, the necessary designs for it had been made in advance.
On Thursday, Gholamreza Jalali said in an interview with Daneshjoo News Agency that since a year ago, there was a possibility of an attack on nuclear infrastructures, and we had planned in detail and precisely for such conditions.
We trained, practiced, and even conducted drills in some areas.
The head of the Passive Defense Organization added that in February and March of last year, we implemented, educated, understood, and executed the plans, and in this regard, the roles and duties of all executive bodies were defined.
Gholamreza Jalali made these statements while Islamic Republic officials have reported serious damage to nuclear facilities in Iran.
