The president of the Union of Retired Workers in the new year is expecting an increase in gasoline prices.

Hassan Sadeghi, the president of the Union of Retired Workers, warns that we should expect a 67% inflation rate next year and further devaluation of the national currency. An increase in gasoline prices and other energy carriers is also on the way.

The Iranian government should follow Erdogan’s example and increase wages based on the real inflation rate. Last year, the Turkish President raised wages by 76% in two stages to minimize the impact of inflation on the Turkish people.

Erdogan understands the economy, but we have entrusted economic affairs to those who haven’t even passed Economics 101 at university.
