Hemmati: Sanctions do not determine the fate of Iran’s economy
Abdolnaser Hemmati, the Governor of the Central Bank, stated that the sanctions and the U.S.’s maximum pressure policy have been pursued not only to create income and trade restrictions but also to intensify expectations and temporarily affect Iran’s markets.
He described the economic pressure not as an effective policy but as a miscalculation, and said that continuing such an approach will increase the cost of America’s mistakes.
