Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh: The retirement age has reached the age of death.

In a note titled ‘Pressure has fallen on the shoulders of the people’ in the Etemad newspaper, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh wrote: During the 3-year term of Ebrahim Raisi’s government, people have faced more than a 50% increase in taxes each year.

Daily and monthly price hikes have burdened the people. In the current situation, with the increase in the retirement age, practically for the underprivileged classes, the retirement age has reached the age of death, and many of the deprived deciles can only experience retirement through death.

Instead of the government fulfilling its obligation to the pension funds, settling its debts, and ending the incompetence of economic managers, it has placed the burden on the shoulders of the people.
