Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with the Saudi Foreign Minister in Jordan

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, said on Wednesday that he met with his Saudi counterpart at the Baghdad Conference 2 in Jordan and added that the Saudi Foreign Minister assured him that Riyadh is ready to continue dialogue with Tehran.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian described his conversation with his Saudi counterpart as friendly on his Twitter account.

The Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry has not yet reacted to this news.

Amir-Abdollahian said he also spoke with the foreign ministers of Oman, Qatar, Iraq, and Kuwait.
