Hossein Karroubi: Put my father on trial to see if he has Alzheimer’s or not

Hossein Karroubi, the son of Mehdi Karroubi, spoke about the latest status of his father’s house arrest, saying there were claims that the restrictions of his house arrest have been lifted, but no, such news is not true, and the house arrest remains in place and nothing has changed.

On the evening of Monday, April 24th, he told Ensaf News that another point raised was about him having Alzheimer’s, which naturally, as one ages, everyone’s memory is affected, but Mr. Karroubi has not developed Alzheimer’s and he is in very good health, and his awareness is intact.

Hossein Karroubi emphasized that firstly, he has repeatedly stated over the past 12 years to put him on a public trial. If the gentlemen have the courage, they can conduct a trial to see if Mr. Karroubi has Alzheimer’s or not. Secondly, it would be better for friends to investigate whether Mr. Jannati has Alzheimer’s or not, given that at 96 years old, he holds several important positions in the country.
