Hossein Marashi: If Raisi and Qalibaf were supposed to be the heads of two branches, why did you place them in the wrong positions?

The Secretary General of the Executives of Construction Party said, ‘I used to tell some friends in governing institutions, suppose Raisi and Qalibaf are to become the heads of two branches, why did you place them in the wrong positions? Qalibaf is suited for execution, and Raisi is suited for speaking in parliament. The arrangement was not in our hands. Perhaps the plan was for these two to become the heads of the country’s two branches. In these circumstances, you should have placed Qalibaf in an executive role and Raisi as the speaker, so they could perform appropriately.’

Hossein Marashi concluded by saying, ‘Surely Qalibaf can manage the parliament better than Nabavian or Resaei, provided he can play a role, because Qalibaf has been absolutely unsuccessful in the recent parliamentary term to the point where they are not even aligned with the government and are in conflict.’
