Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, told Iranian state television that the projectiles hit precise targets deep within Israel. He added, ‘We have created a new equation that if Israel attacks our interests, assets, or individuals, we will target them from Iran.’
The IRGC commander, referring to this attack as the ‘True Promise,’ said that drones and cruise and ballistic missiles, at appropriate intervals, managed to render the air defense coalition of the U.S., France, and Israel less effective.
He said, ‘We conducted a limited operation, but it could have been extensive.’
He continued by saying that the scope of the operation was limited to the capabilities that Israel used to attack the Islamic Republic’s embassy. He added that the operation was carried out with success beyond our expectations so far.
He warned that if Israel shows any reaction, Iran’s response will be much harsher.
