Hossein Shariatmadari’s attack on Rouhani
A newspaper under the management of Hossein Shariatmadari wrote in its special news column that in a general overview of Hassan Rouhani’s presidency, it has witnessed one of the worst inflation rates in the past few decades, a record negative economic growth, an unprecedented increase in class disparity, and a significant decrease in per capita income.
A newspaper called Kayhan wrote in its special news column that while Rouhani recently claimed the need to investigate the reasons for people’s dissatisfaction during a meeting with some journalists, statistics indicate that Rouhani’s tenure and his cabinets have been the worst economic period for Iran in recent decades.
