Hossein Shariatmadari: We should send a ship carrying food to Gaza

Hossein Shariatmadari should send a ship carrying food to Gaza.

Hossein Shariatmadari wrote in the editorial of Kayhan that the Islamic Republic can and should send shipments of food, medicine, and other necessities to the people of Gaza by sea.

Undoubtedly, the United States, Western allies, and Israel will oppose this action, and it is not unlikely that they will attack the ships carrying the mentioned goods. However, even if the mentioned ships are attacked, firstly, a lasting pattern will be set for other Islamic countries, secondly, it will further expose the repugnant face of Western countries that claim to help the people of Gaza but are more than ever revealed as deceitful, and thirdly, international bodies can confirm the non-military nature of the cargo on these ships by inspecting them.
