Hossein Amirabdollahian Reacts to Europe's Recent Decision to Expand Sanctions Against Iran

Hossein Amirabdollahian reacted to Europe’s recent decision to expand sanctions against Iran.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, expressed his reaction to Europe’s recent decision to expand sanctions against Iran in a message on the social network Twitter.

Amirabdollahian asked the European Union not to follow Washington’s recommendation for Israel’s approval by stating the usual accusations against Israel.

He called for sanctions against Israel by the European Union, stating that Europe’s response to Israel’s military operations in Gaza is almost nothing more than empty words.

Josep Borrell, the EU’s foreign policy chief, has been tasked with preparing and presenting specific proposals to intensify sanctions against Iran by the unanimous decision of the 27 foreign ministers of the EU on Tuesday, April 13.

These sanctions will be designed in a way that the Islamic Republic will face difficulties in the production and development of its drones and missiles.
