Human Rights Watch reports a new cyber attack by the Charming Kitten group targeting activists and critics, and identified this hacker group as being supported by the Iranian government
The organization stated that in a continuing effort, hackers backed by the Iranian government have targeted two Human Rights Watch staff members and at least 18 activists, journalists, researchers, academics, diplomats, and prominent politicians involved in Middle Eastern-related issues
