Trump said he wrote to the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but he chose the path of confrontation

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, addressed the U.S. stance towards the Islamic Republic of Iran in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly

He mentioned that there is no greater threat than destructive weapons, stating that although the United States possesses a large number of these weapons, it is not inclined to use them and has prioritized controlling these threats

Trump said that after taking office, he sent a letter to the leader of the Islamic Republic, offering full cooperation in exchange for suspending the nuclear program

However, according to him, Tehran’s response was to continue threatening its neighbors and U.S. interests, which resulted in the start of a 12-day war and the killing of most of the Islamic Republic’s military commanders. Trump said many of Iran’s military commanders are no longer with us

Trump then referred to the Midnight Hammer operation that took place three months ago, saying that seven U.S. B-2 bombers dropped fourteen 30,000-pound bombs on Iran’s nuclear facilities, completely destroying them

He added that no other country had the capability to do this
