Some workers have not received their year-end bonuses yet, according to ILNA news agency

According to ILNA news agency, some workers have not received their end-of-year bonuses yet.

ILNA reported that some workers in trades and small businesses have not received their end-of-year bonuses yet.

A worker at a brand store in Tehran contacted us to declare that he and five of his colleagues have not yet received their end-of-year bonuses from the previous year.

He added that despite nearing the middle of Farvardin (first month of the Iranian calendar), the employer has not deposited our end-of-year bonuses from last year.

This is happening while some workers in home appliance and carpet stores in Tehran and other cities have also not succeeded in receiving their end-of-year bonuses. Some of these workers expressed concerns about not having their contracts renewed in the new year and not receiving their end-of-year bonuses and additional benefits from the previous year.

According to custom and the law, workers’ end-of-year bonuses and additional benefits should be settled and fully paid before the end of each year.
