Increase in per capita consumption of the country’s cheapest protein
The chairman of the board of directors of the Tehran Province Egg-Laying Poultry Union stated that the per capita consumption of eggs in the country is 15 kilograms, and the cost price of each kilogram of eggs for poultry farmers has been 43,000 tomans.
Nasser Nabipour stated that egg consumption has increased, and the per capita consumption of eggs in the country has reached 15 kilograms because eggs are the cheapest protein.
