India deeply biasedly rejected the U.S. human rights report

New Delhi announced on Thursday that it does not value the U.S. State Department report criticizing the human rights situation in India and considers it deeply biased.

The U.S. State Department’s annual assessment of the human rights situation in India, released earlier this week, pointed to significant human rights violations in the northeastern state of Manipur, which were reportedly observed last year. The U.S. State Department also highlighted the suppression of minorities, journalists, and dissenting voices in other parts of the country in this report.
