Intense heat wave in Iran with temperatures exceeding 50 degrees in 9 cities
According to Saadegh Ziaian, the director general of the Iranian Meteorological Organization, the trend of increasing temperatures has begun in many cities of the country, and residents in 9 cities are facing temperatures of 50 degrees.
Ziaian told reporters that based on the latest analyses, the maximum temperature in 9 cities in the provinces of Bushehr, Khuzestan, and Fars has reached above 50 degrees by the daytime of Monday, June 23rd.
According to the Meteorological Organization, the cities of Khormoj in Bushehr with 509 degrees, Bastan in Khuzestan with 506, Shabankareh in Bushehr with 505, Dehram in Fars with 504, Ahvaz, Safiabad, Dezful, and Abpakhsh in Bushehr with 502, and Shush in Khuzestan with 50 degrees Celsius are experiencing the hottest weather these days.
The director general of the Meteorological Organization added that in the next six days, the maximum temperature in some cities in the southwest regions of the country will exceed 50 degrees.
