Internet has been cut off in some areas near the location of Esmail Haniyeh’s funeral.

Iranian users and some organizations monitoring internet freedom have reported that in some areas near the location of Esmail Haniyeh’s procession, the internet has been disconnected or severely disrupted.

Filternet, which investigates and reports on digital rights and internet access, wrote that based on user reports, internet in areas close to the location of the prayer for Ismail Haniyeh by the leader of the Islamic Republic was cut off or severely disrupted during the same time, including areas from Enghelab Square to Valiasr in Tehran.

Filternet mentioned in its social media account that some users also reported about mobile phone antennas being cut off from around 10 a.m.
