Investigations into Violation of Iran Sanctions by Polish Refinery Unfold

Research on the violation of Iran sanctions by a Polish refinery has been conducted.

Poland is investigating whether Orlen Trzebinia, a unit of the Polish refinery Orlen, has violated the sanctions on importing oil from Russia or Iran.

This report was published on Thursday by Radio Zet, a private Polish radio network.

According to Reuters, the Polish government has increased pressure on the Orlen company, and the Prime Minister of the country, Donald Tusk, had previously raised the possibility of violations in the Swiss branch of this company.

Mr. Tusk announced last month, without specifying details, that this company could face very serious problems.
