Iran advances with victory over the UAE, securing the top spot

Iran secured victory against the United Arab Emirates and advanced to the top spot.

In the final match of the group stage of the AFC Asian Cup, the Iranian national football team faced the UAE. Despite the referee declaring three of Iran’s goals invalid, they managed to defeat their opponent with a score of 2-1. Both goals in this match were scored by Mehdi Taremi, assisted by Sardar Azmoun.

Amir Ghalenoei, the coach of Iran, started the game with the lineup consisting of Alireza Beiranvand, Ehsan Hajsafi, Shoja Khalilzadeh, Mohammad Hossein Kanaanizadegan, Sadeq Mohammadi, Saman Ghoddos, Saeid Ezatolahi, Mehdi Ghayedi, Mehdi Taremi, Ali Gholizadeh, and Sardar Azmoun.
