Iran’s gas imports from Turkmenistan have been halted

Initial reports indicate that the swap and gas imports from Turkmenistan to Iran have been suspended, but it is unclear whether this interruption is temporary due to technical reasons or if there is another reason for the halt in gas delivery to Iran

Negotiations between the two parties have begun to resume this gas trade, but so far no reason has been given for this suspension

In Khordad 1401 (May/June 2022), agreements were signed for a daily gas swap of 10 million cubic meters between Iran and Turkmenistan, as well as imports of the same amount of gas from this country
