Iran Karate Federation Refuses to Issue Visas to the Iranian Karate Team for Morocco

The Iran Karate Federation announced that Morocco has refrained from issuing visas to the Iranian karate team.

The Iran Karate Federation has stated that Morocco has refrained from issuing visas to the Iranian karate team.

The Iranian team was supposed to participate in the Karate-1 Premier League in Morocco, scheduled for June 1-3.

The Iran Karate Federation considers the reason for visa denial to be political, stating that the necessary documents were submitted to the Moroccan Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation about a month ago.

Despite efforts by the Iran Karate Federation through various channels and even requests to the World Karate Federation, Morocco refrained from granting visas to Iranian representatives for the Karate-1 competition, causing Iranian karatekas to miss the opportunity to participate.

Iranian media have reported that Morocco has also refrained from issuing visas to athletes from Libya and Chinese Taipei, not just Iran.
