Iran’s national volleyball team defeated the USA

In the third week of the Nations League, Iran’s national volleyball team managed to secure their first victory. After eight consecutive defeats in the first and second weeks, the Iranian players began the third week with a 3-2 win against the USA.

This match was held in the Philippines, and Peyman Akbari’s students, on the day of Porya Hossein Khanzadeh’s brilliance, who scored 23 points, overcame their powerful opponent. Milad Ebadipour, Iran’s captain, also scored 20 points.

Torey DeFalco, the USA star, scored 33 points and was the most successful player on the court, but his efforts couldn’t prevent his team’s defeat.

With their first victory, Iran will face the Netherlands next. France and Germany are Iran’s next opponents in the final week of the Nations League.
