Iran warned against possible cooperation between London and the United States

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that in a call between its foreign minister and his British counterpart, a warning was issued against any military cooperation between London and Washington.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that in a telephone conversation between Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister, and his British counterpart Yvette Cooper, a warning was issued about possible cooperation between London and the United States.

According to this statement, Iran emphasized that providing British military bases for American use would be considered participation in aggression.

In this call, Araghchi warned that any British aid to the United States could lead to an escalation of the situation.

He also accused Britain and some European countries of adopting a biased approach towards what he described as clear aggression from the United States and Israel.

Based on a text that the Iranian foreign minister published on his Telegram account, he also criticized Britain in this conversation for not condemning Israeli attacks on the South Pars gas fields.

As of the time this news was released, the British government has not responded to these statements.
