The Iranian Embassy in Moscow: Russia’s Mir card will arrive in Iran late summer

The Iranian Embassy in Moscow has announced that within 2 months, it will be possible to use Russian credit cards in Iran.

Mohsen Rahimi, our country’s ambassador to Russia, stated that the necessary infrastructure for using Russian bank cards in Iran is being developed, although setting up the systems will take some time.

However, according to Digiato, the issue of accepting Russian bank cards in Iran has been raised several times over the past years but has never been implemented.
