Iranian home appliances are both more expensive in Dubai and of lower quality than foreign products. The Javan newspaper wrote that comparing the two industries of home appliances and automobiles may not please the taste of home appliance manufacturers, but as time goes by, we delve deeper into the tragedy of domestic production of these two goods. We assemble imported technology products with very low quality, but their prices are higher than the global prices of those goods.

Comparing the two industries of home appliances and automobiles may not please the taste of home appliance manufacturers, but as time goes by, we delve deeper into the tragedy of domestic production of these two goods. We assemble imported technology products with very low quality, but their prices are higher than the global prices of those goods.

The price of a side-by-side refrigerator made in Iran is 64,400,000 rials to 89,600,000 rials, depending on the brand. However, the same side-by-side refrigerator in the UAE, considering the exchange rate of around 15,000 tomans per dirham, is sold for less than 5,000 dirhams for brands like Bosch and Siemens, which are made in Germany.

Also, the report of Tasnim news agency, which compared the prices of these goods in Iran and the UAE last year in Ordibehesht, indicates that the price of a seven-kilogram Samsung washing machine in Iran was 28 million tomans and in the UAE it was 16 million tomans. The prices were calculated in the UAE with 14,000 tomans per dirham. The same washing machine with a domestic brand was sold between 19 to 30 million tomans.

Mohammad Hossein Eslamian adds that today we assemble washing machines with imported technology that are of much lower quality than the original samples. However, their prices are higher than the global price of the desired product. Nowadays, the price of washing machines, which have the highest global quality level and are popular in many countries around the world, is 200 dollars, while Iranian washing machines with lower quality are not sold to people for less than 20 million tomans.
