Iranian media: Araqchi leaves Islamabad

Iranian media reported that Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, has left Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

The destination of Abbas Araqchi has not been announced, but it was previously stated that he would also travel to Muscat and Moscow. Iranian media had previously reported that Abbas Araqchi, in meetings with Pakistani officials, reflected Tehran’s positions and considerations regarding the ceasefire with the United States.

The White House has announced that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, advisors to Donald Trump, will travel to Islamabad.
