Iran drops 4 places in FIFA rankings

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) will announce the new December world rankings for national football teams on Thursday, December 22nd, which will be the first ranking after the conclusion of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. According to predictions by the website footballrankingsinfo and based on FIFA’s formulas, the Iranian national football team will drop four places to rank 24th globally in the December rankings, and will relinquish its top position in Asia to Japan.
