At the same time, the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teachers’ Associations confirmed through reliable sources that on Sunday night, during indiscriminate shooting by police officers at a family in a car on the Lamerd-Bastak road, Soha Etemadi, a 12-year-old schoolgirl, was killed.
State media reported today that Hossein Ashtari, the Commander of the Iranian Police Force, issued a special order for investigating this case.
In his message, he wrote, while offering condolences to the respected family of the deceased, he has assigned the General Inspection of the Police Force to investigate this case.
In this message, without naming the deceased individual, he confirmed that the death of the young lady from Bastak occurred yesterday during a shooting and a chase involving a suspicious vehicle in Bastak County, Hormozgan Province.
