Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage: 20 Chinese influencers traveled to Iran

Moslem Shojaei, the head of the Office of Foreign Tourism Marketing and Development at Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, stated that 20 Chinese influencers, who on average have more than 3 million viewers on social networks like TikTok and Weibo, have traveled to Iran to create content.

He mentioned that this initiative has been launched in the form of four familiarization tours under the project name ‘Hello Iran’.

According to ISNA, Mr. Shojaei described the ‘Hello Iran’ project as having four themes: nature and climatic diversity, history and culture, the Silk Road, and cuisine, which have been planned in 12 provinces of Iran for the Chinese influencers.

According to him, the first group of these influencers focused on climatic diversity and nature, visited the provinces of Tehran, Hormozgan, and Kerman from February 15 to February 22, and created content for more than 60 million followers.

Mr. Shojaei added that the second group visited the cities of Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd, Meybod, Shiraz, and Tehran on February 23.
