Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister: We will only negotiate on nuclear issues
Kazem Gharibabadi, the Legal Deputy of the Foreign Ministry, said the new round of talks has just begun, and if the other party is serious, honest, and the negotiations are based on mutual respect, the parties can make progress in these discussions.
The Deputy Foreign Minister stated that negotiations are incompatible with threats, and naturally, if the other party seeks military actions, they cannot demonstrate their seriousness in negotiations. The Islamic Republic has also proven that it is prepared for any situation, whether it requires resolute defense of the country or negotiations.
He added that the talks are solely focused on nuclear issues, and Iran will only negotiate on this matter.
