The Iranian Foreign Minister is preparing for the next round of negotiations.

Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, provided explanations about his trip and the latest political developments at the end of his visit to Norway and participation in the Oslo Global Forum.

Araghchi, highlighting the importance of the Oslo meeting, said that this year the Norwegian Foreign Minister invited me and a group of foreign ministers from the region for a series of regional discussions.

One of the panels at this forum was dedicated to the future of the Middle East region.

He added that the outcome of this panel was significant, indicating that if we want a different future for the region, it is not possible without establishing justice for the Palestinians.

Araghchi further mentioned his sideline meetings at this gathering and said that on the sidelines of this forum, I had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Oman, during which arrangements for the next round of negotiations were finalized.

I also had an important bilateral meeting with the Saudi Foreign Minister, particularly commendable for the arrangements made for the welfare of Iranian pilgrims at the end of the Hajj ceremony.

He emphasized at the end that we are preparing for Sunday and the next round of negotiations, which, of course, will be held under the shadow of the new Board of Governors resolution, a matter that adds to the complexities of the discussion. Nevertheless, we will be in Muscat to defend the rights of the Iranian nation.
