Iran’s Foreign Minister: We will respond to Trump’s letter in the coming days

Abbas Araqchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister, stated on Channel Two of IRIB that a response to Trump’s letter will be given and sent through appropriate channels. He mentioned that considering Nowruz and Ramadan, there is no rush in responding, but it will not take long, and we will respond in the coming days. Araqchi added that Trump’s letter has more of a threatening aspect but also claims to offer opportunities, and in our response, you will see both angles addressed.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that as long as pressure and threats exist in this manner, we will not engage in direct negotiations. He added that we are prepared for war but do not welcome it. The coming year will be a difficult, important, and complex one.
