Reaction of Iran’s Foreign Ministry to the European Troika’s Statement
Nasser Kanaani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to the statement by the three European countries against Iran, said
It is surprising and regrettable that at a time when diplomatic interactions and message exchanges between negotiating parties and the coordinator of the talks are ongoing to finalize the negotiations, the three European countries have issued such a statement in a diversionary move, far from a result-oriented approach in the negotiations.
It is regrettable that the three European countries, with this ill-considered statement, have taken a step in line with the Zionist regime’s stance on the failure of the negotiations, and it is obvious that if such an approach continues, they must also accept responsibility for its consequences.
