The Minister of Oil stated that Iran’s oil exports last year reached over 35 billion dollars.
The Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic says that since September 2021, the country’s oil production has increased by 60%, and 54 million cubic meters have been added to gas production.
According to ILNA, Javad Owji, during the inauguration ceremony of the 28th International Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and Refining Exhibition, also stated that 50 million cubic meters have been added to refining capacity, 220 thousand barrels to processing capacity, and 10 million tons to petrochemical products capacity.
Owji reported on the 35 billion dollars of Iran’s oil exports last year and said that despite sanctions, efforts to seize oil tankers, a gas pipeline explosion, and two cyber-attacks aimed at angering the public, we achieved this export figure.
According to the Minister of Oil of the Islamic Republic, in the past two and a half years, relying on domestic knowledge-based companies, significant developments have occurred in Iran’s oil industry.
