Iran’s reaction to Grossi’s desire to visit Iran: Due to a busy schedule, the trip in March is unlikely.

Two days after Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, expressed his desire to visit Tehran and talk with Iranian officials next month, Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, has said that this trip in March is unlikely.

Mr. Eslami said today after the meeting of the Iranian cabinet that due to a busy schedule, it is unlikely that this trip will take place in March. Considering that we are holding the first international nuclear conference in May, and various countries from around the world have expressed their willingness to attend, Mr. Grossi has also been invited to speak at that conference.

Mr. Grossi told Reuters two days ago that Iran continues to enrich uranium beyond commercial nuclear needs and announced that he wants to travel to Tehran next month, March, for the first time in a year to discuss and talk with Iranian officials.
