The Iranian state newspaper called CNN’s report on the sexual abuse of protesters unrealistic.
Today, the Iranian state newspaper responded to CNN’s report about violence and sexual abuse in Iranian detention centers, stating that this report is based on vague and unrealistic information and provides no documentation.
In today’s issue, the Iran newspaper, with the headline ‘CNN on the Wave of Fake News,’ wrote that the individuals mentioned in the report are unidentified and cannot be followed up on. In cases where some names are mentioned, no information is provided about what is stated in the report’s title, namely sexual assault, and even if there is a reference, it is still speculation by the authors.
The government-affiliated newspaper, referring to Trump’s remarks, considers CNN’s reports biased and a distortion of reality.
CNN, citing the testimony of several released detainees or hospital sources, announced that young women and teenage girls and boys have been sexually assaulted in prisons.
