Iran’s Tourism Minister: Tourist SIM card has nothing to do with capitulation

Ezzatollah Zarghami, the Minister of Tourism, once again talked about tourist SIM cards at the gathering of Iran’s tourism guides. In this event, he said that when foreigners come to Iran, they should have a SIM card to be able to contact their families and send their souvenir photos from Iran to their families.

Mr. Zarghami also said, ‘We say give them a SIM card, and everyone attacks, mistakenly comparing it to capitulation. This has nothing to do with capitulation; rather, it is a basic need for tourists.’
